The first version of this theme back in January 2008 was inspired by the great magazine style themes of Brian Gardner and Darren Hoyt. I took those elements that I liked the most in every theme and combined them together in one single theme. The different page templates are inspired by Brian Gardners "Revolution" theme, other elements are taken from "Mimbo" by Darren Hoyt. The Tabbed section is created by using jQuery ui.tabs by Klaus Hartl (stilbuero.de). Meanwihle the theme walked through a lot of development and got its own individual face and functions.

The Name of the theme was inspired by the famous American jazz sax-player, Branford Marsalis. Although I´m German, I decided to present this theme in english in order to make it available for a greater audience.

I Got Blues For You - The Homemade Jamz Blues Band

|

Their debut recording last year, Pay Me No Mind, led to the Homemade Jamz receiving a Blues Music Award nomination for Best New Artist Debut. Along the way, they appeared on the Today Show, were featured on NPR's "All Things Considered", and profiled on the CBS Sunday Morning News. Their new CD, I Got Blues For You, showcases some incredible songwriting, Ryan's fantastic lead guitar, Kyle's booming bass lines, and Taya's hard-hitting drums.

The Homemade Jamz Blues Band rocked the Blues world by coming in second in the 2007 International Blues Challenge in Memphis- competing against 100 other bands.

The Youngest Blues Band in America with Kyle (aged 14 on Bass guitar), Taya (aged 10 on drums) and Ryan (aged 16 on lead guitar and vocals)!

Youngest band to ever be nominated for a Blues Music Award.
